The anteroposterior diameter of the anterior and posterior nerve
roots of cauda equina were measured at the level of T12-L1 at the
widest point on sagittal contrast-enhanced T1-weighted images
The anteroposterior diameter of the conus medullaris was also
measured at the widest point on T2-weighted sagittal image, and
caudo-conal ratio was also calculated by dividing the diameter of
the anterior nerve root to the diameter of the conus
