The number of accessions by national holding is displayed in
National Beta germplasm collections shown in Fig. 4 are
being evaluated but access to the data is more difficult as they
are kept offline (most of the European national genebanks) or are
difficult to understand by the majority of the user community due
to language problems such as the information systems CGRIS (2010)
in China and NIAS (2010) in Japan.
EURISCO (2010) has facilitated the access to passport data on Beta
(see Fig. 4).
