BLASTP and TBLASTN searches showing sequence identities between CAE3510.2 of OSJNBa0053K19.18 BAC clones and wheat and rice PPO genes
Results of BLASTP ( http://blast.wustl.edu ), and BLASTP and
TBLASTN (NCBI) searches on untranslated and translated protein
sequence of rice CDS (coding sequence): CAE03510.2
(OSJNBa0053K19.18) indicated significant alignments with other full
and partial PPO CDS of different grasses including maize,
sugarcane, wheat, and rice (Table 3 ).
The CDS CAE3510.2 of OSJNBa0053K19.18 (gene ID21) showed similarity
with rice cDNA and putative PPO gene of rice (Table 3 ).
