In this new delimitation Mapanioideae comprise two tribes:
Hypolytreae and Chrysitricheae, while the circumscription of
Cyperoideae changed considerably to include taxa previously placed
in Caricoideae and Sclerioideae (sensu Goetghebeur 1998 )
