Geometry and terminology of an organ pipe
A sketch of the mouth region of an organ pipe with the used
coordinate system is shown in Fig. 1 and the data of the
pipes are summarized in Table 1 .
The LDA system is one-dimensional, but by turning the optical unit
90°, two-velocity components (the y and z
components, see Fig. 1 ) were measured.
