hyperbranching in response to the toxin Latrunculin B
Description
Confocal laser scanning microscopy, taken with a Biorad Radiance
2100 system on a Nikon Eclipse inverted microscope, 20X Mimm
objective. False-colored in Image J. The image was taken
approximately 2-3 hours after the addition of the inhibitor,
Latrunculin B, which targets the actin cytoskeleton. Hyperbranching
is a general response to stress for Neurospora crassa.
